Ben's 4th

Ben turned 4 today! He is so sweet. I forgot to take a picture for Grandma S. of his batman gear. I will take one tomorrow Grandma and post it. Thanks everyone for making his birthday fun.

Gymnastics

This is really helping
him with burning
his energy off in a good way
and
teaching him patience.

Pre-School

Today was Ben's first day of pre-school! He loved it!

Ponyo

Ben read 200 minutes, as a reward from the library he got a free Beta fish. He called it Ponyo after the movie Ponyo (click to view Ponyo).

If he reads another 200 minutes he will get a free ice cream cone from Cold Stone. So here we go!

**I read to Ben since he can't read and that still counts. They even let babies participate ;0)**

Just Random

I kind of miss Ben as a baby. Not the colic, but just how little and cute he was. Such a bug!

Dr. Snow

Ben has been fascinated with Doctor's. Everytime he get's an owie (even a small one) he say's he needs to go to the Doctor's. Maybe he will become a Doctor like his Grandpa it must be in the genes

vinyl chalkboard

I found this vinyl chalkboard at a store that sell's new/used kids clothes etc. Ben loves it! I might have to buy one for my kitchen. It would make a great place to leave reminder notes.

Dear Benjamin

 

Dear Benjamin,

Tomorrow you turn 3, and it marks three years of motherhood for me. It took 12 hours for you to get here and boy was I in for a rough start to motherhood. The refiners fire indeed. I must admit after having you it was really hard for me. I was a bit emotional I must say and it did not help that you were with colic. But as the months went on things got progressively better and I loved every minute with you. You have filled mine and Daddy's heart full to the brim.

You are extremely smart. I'm sure all parents say this about their own, but really you are. Why you could recognize the entire alphabet at two. You are a wonderful big brother. Hannah adores you and wants so badly to play with you

We love you and love everything about you. Happy 3 years of life and here's to many more.

ps...you are getting Buzz lightyear for you Birthday and Grandma Snow made you a tent to play in.

What's new with Ben Benn?

• He colors with his left hand more than his right.
• He is being potty trained and doing really good at going # 1 in the potty
• He loves Toy Story especially Buzz..don't tell him but he is getting Buzz for his B-day.
• He is turning 3 years old this Saturday
• He is speaking in sentences more often now
• He loves Elmo's world
• He was sick on Friday with a fever and he threw up. Doing much better.
• I bought him a Tricycle at the D.I for $6.00 
• He is loved
• I found a website for The Friend magazine that he likes. Check it out The Friend

Fat lip and cute baby

Ben went to the dentist today. It went well until he came home and decide to bite his lip, cheeks, tongue, because the were numb . He has been miserable since. I do not want him to go to the dentist anytime again soon!  He is taking flouride now so that should help him permanent teeth.

Ben Benn

I hope I am blessed with another boy one day. I just love having a son, even if he has tons of energy. I wouldn't trade it for anything. love you Ben Benn!

Birthday party

Even Dad joined in on the fun! Ben was invited by an awesome Tongan family in our ward to their son's birthday party at Jungle Jyms. He had so much fun!
