New Years

Happy New Year. We spent the evening relaxing and having ice cream sundae's. The kids were in bed by 8:30 pm and so was I. I know party pooper! But alas at Midnight fireworks and people shouting woke me up. It sounded more like World War 3! Honestly people do we need to act this way?
The kids in their cute PJ's they got for Christmas.

Temple Square Lights

We took the kids to Temple Square in Salt Lake this evening. It was pretty chilly, but we had fun! We warmed up with Hot Cocoa afterwards.

Found this toy at DI for $3.00. Hannah loves it.

**4th**

Ben did not like fireworks again this year. This is him covering his ears.
We have such a great neighborhood! I {heart} it! We lucked out I tell you. This guy shot candy and glow sticks out of this cannon. You should have seen the glow sticks flying through the air.
Hannah LOVED the fireworks.

This house with the star on it is owned by a local pharmacist who also lives in our stake. He puts this 4th of July party on every year for the neighborhood.

Ben was okay watching fireworks from the house.

Easter Apron and Skirt

Grandma Snow made Hannah a skirt and me an apron for Easter. Cute. Don't you love the fabric?

Hannah is sitting up all by herself now. *Don't mind that silly Mommies voice in the background. I know I sound silly ;0)

Update...finally!

I finally have a moment to update. We spent 2 weeks in Iowa with Matthew's side of the family. The kids did well on the flights. We had fun playing  games, eating yummy food, and going to Nauvoo for a day (they live 40 miles away). Matthew and I got to sneak away 2 times without kids in tow. We went to lunch and a movie (the Frog Princess..great movie!) then to lunch again another day.

While there we celebrated 5 years of marriage and we celebrated Matthew's 31st Birthday. I think we need to just stop counting now that we're in our 30's now.

Benjamin is still wild and crazy. He has more energy than I can handle at times. He loves to sing primary songs. The wheels on the bus is his all time favorite. He stays in Nursery one more year, which I believe will be for his benefit and the primaries as well :0)

Hannah is almost 5 months. She started rice cereal and is being a bit grouchy lately. I think she is teething since she is always chewing on her fists.

3 cups white flour

Directions:

Christmas goodies

Cute Dad
Scary Mom.
We decorated a gingerbread house and cookies. Ben Benn really enjoyed all the sugar. We still need to put the house together.
