First Seminary Class

My father recently gave me a bunch of picture of my grandparents. I thought this one was neat. The first seminary class in the church at Granite High. My Grandmother is on the 2nd row 3rd to the left (next to the teacher)

Temple

Matthew and I got up early this morning and went to the Salt Lake LDS Temple. It was great. It has been a while since we've got to go with each other. Matthew goes every Friday morning. Lucky him! We took a few pictures. WE also looked at a model of the temple that show's the inside. It was very cool! Go see it if you're downtown.

callings

Past-Present

~Sunbeam Teacher
~Missionary
~Primary Chorister
~Ward Chorister
~Nursery
~Enrichment Committee (when it was called that)
~Temple Prep Teacher
~ Relief Society Instructor 4th Sunday
~ Mia Maid Adviser
~Relief Society Pianist (current calling)
~An additional calling: Activity Day's working with the 8 & 9 year olds.

I really love how callings in the LDS church help us to grow. For example. I am currently the Relief Society Pianist (and working with the Activity Day's). I only took 4 years of piano lessons and I am really not that good. I don't even own a piano just a cheap keyboard. Well over the last few months I have seen a HUGE change in how I play the piano. I am getting better and more confident playing while others sing along.

I now have an additional calling to work with the 8 and 9 year old girls with Activity Day's. I went to the first activity yesterday. It was fun! What a sweet age to be at. Such sweet girls! It gives me a glimpse into Hannah's future and what a sweet girl she will become.

Just my thoughts for today.
