Friday Favorites

Since we've been sick here are this weeks favorites. Good news we are doing better. Hannah has a double ear infection and pink eye, but with the help of antibiotics (another favorite) she is improving minute by minute! On Monday and Tuesday she kept us up almost all night long! Last night she slept through the night. PHEW! I was on the verge of tears!

Friday Favorites

I hate touching raw meat so I use these disposable gloves, if I don't have any on hand (no pun) I use sandwich baggies to cover my hands.

Mary Kay..bless your heart! Timewise cleanser. Can't wait to try more of the Timewise collection

Love this movie to pieces! One of my favorite lines is from Charlotte who say's as she is grabbing handfuls of napkins "I swear I'm sweating like a sinner in church" hee hee

late Friday Favorite

I really need to keep doing these on Friday's. I've been slacking!
Peek-a-blocks
I first saw these adorable toys this past week at my sister-in-laws home. She has oodles and doodles of them. I had to get some for Hannah. I just bought a set a 6. They are hard to find. I had to buy them off of Amazon.

I want to buy these one because they just look too much fun. Okay I even enjoy them too.

Don't these ones look fun?! Hannah and Ben love them! So cute.

Early Friday Favorite

I don't buy cookbooks very often, but I knew this one would be a winner. If you haven't heard of The Pioneer Woman..shame one you! Here is a link to her website (click here) .

How does homemade enchiladas sound? Or Maple pecan scones? Or how about a Chocolate sheet cake? Or last but not least, Comfort Meatballs?

This cookbook is a keeper. By the way, she has tons of other recipes on her website.

Don't you hate bathmats that get all mildewy? Not anymore! My mother introduced me to this bathmat she found at Bed Bath and Beyond. It's mildew resistant and anti-bacterial. I love it.

Stephens Hot Cocoa Peanut Buttercup! It comes with small peanut buttercups that melt in the hot cocoa. Very Good! Especailly if you're a peanut butter addict like my self.
I love this Fruit and Veggie wash. It's great at washing away pesticides and dirt.

Friday Favorites

After I had my second child my brother gave me this hand lotion from Bath and Body works. Since I wash my hands a TON, this lotion has been a life saver to my hands. It smells great too!
I have yet to make Homemade cinnamon rolls. I will one day mark my words. But these are so yummy! A little too yummy since I crave them.
I love peppermints, but they have to be some what soft, not hard candy. These from See's are good.

Friday Favorites!

For this weeks Favorites I would like to share with you some of my favorite blogs that I follow.

First is Random Thoughts from the Zoo. She hosts a give-away every Friday and the items are way cute. Plus she is the mother of 7 kids and she is my age (30) pretty amazing. And I know her and her amazing family. They are some of my most favorite people. So stop by her blog for her Free Give-away every Friday!

Other Blog I have most recently discovered is Apron Girls Attic. They also have some fun give-away items. I'm love free things.

Another favorite Blog is my husband's Aunt Lucy at My Byrd House. She has wonderful recipes and you should check out her esty Shop, she sells apron patterns to Homemade Soap bars to bags. Here's the link to her ETSY Shop My Byrd Nest

And last is a personal Blog by Paul Cardall..Living for Eden. Paul was born with Chronic Heart Disease. He is a local pianist. His blog is truly inspiring. We all face trials and we can learn a lot from others trials. he looks at his condition as a blessing. Just read the his quote at the top of his Blog. How great! So read on and be inspired.

I have so many other blogs I love to visit. Just check out my sidebar for links to food blogs and other fun stops.

Friday Favorites (no more frugal friday)

These CRACKERS are delish! And they come in 2 other flavors. Try a box...or two.
I tried Steel Cut Oats at Jamba Juice this last summer and had to find some of my own to cook at home. They are a little more in price than regular oats, but so tasty especially with a little brown sugar and sliced bananas atop. YUM!

I stumbled across this Blog on USA Today's website. The Oval (Click to enter site). I've been wanting to follow the U.S. Presidency better and this blog posts pretty much everything on President Obama's agenda Monday-Friday. Love it.
