Birth Story

It's simple. Pitocin started at 8:45. Induced 9:30. Called for epidural (love love love it by the way) at 10:45. Was at a 3 at Noon. Had horrible pains in my left side at 12:30 p.m. Called nurse right away. I was at a 9 1/2. I went from a 3 to a 9 1/2 in 30 minutes. I was shocked. Pushed for about 15 minutes. She was born at 1:10 p.m.

She is doing great so far. Loves to sleep and nurse. We love her and so does her big brother.

Some pictures

This is Hannah and her cousin Brenna. Brenna is 9 months. What a difference! Cute babies
Daddy and his kids! And what a great Dad I must say.
One night at the hospital the nurses brought us a yummy dinner. It was way fun. I love the hospital I deliver at (Alta View in Sandy). My doctors and nurses are the best! I also got a really nice robe for free.

Trip to the cabin

Eliza at the falls
So beautiful.
Ben and his walking stick
We had Matthew's family out here for almost a week. We headed up to his family cabin up the Weber canyon (near Smith and Moorehouse, Oakley, you get the drift). I think it's the most beautiful spot in the Utah mountains. I wish the pictures could really tell you just how beautiful it is.

We all had a good time! It was very relaxing for me, which is what I needed after the stress of moving. We have more pictures that I'll post when I get them from my mother-in-law. She took plenty, but here are a few from our vacation.

PS....7 more weeks until baby # 2
